2002 V10 Duke: The Puffy Powerhouse of G.I. Joe?

Welcome to The Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at G.I. Joe 2002 V10 Duke. Some of the 2002 figures kind of remind me of the Star Wars Power of the Force figures. A little puffy perhaps with a Beetlejuice head. Not the best version of Duke out of his 50+ versions, but this figure does have some nice qualities though. I particularly love the boots with the GI Joe insignia. It is very sharp and makes the figure pop.

I couldn’t find the proper weapon so I subbed in a classic Joe machine gun for my figure. The non removable helmet is not my favorite but this is a pretty sharp looking head sculpt even as 1 solid piece. The body itself is kinda puffy but fitting for the era. It’s hard to make perfection better, so it’s no surprise this figure is not as good as many before. Overall this is an interesting Duke and it is part of the history and GI Joe and Duke, so I’m happy to have him in my collection. Who has this version of Duke?
